Tara is an RYT 200 instructor and certified personal trainer. She has an extensive background in athletics as well as body functionality. Since she was 16 years old she has successfully worked with youth and professional athletes to the casual gym-goer and senior citizens. Her passion and goal has always been to help other realize their physical and mental strength, as well as teach others to use health and fitness to live their lives to the fullest.
Tara’s personal athletic background comes from 16 years of gymnastics as well as 6 years on modern dance, among various other sports such as figure skating and horseback riding. She started coaching gymnastics when she was 16 years old. From there she became inspired to hone her knowledge and skills on strength and conditioning training. A couple of years later she became a certified personal trainer, which evolved into group fitness instruction, and becoming a fitness lifestyle coach. While transitioning out of gymnastics, Tara found weightlifting and bodybuilding competitions in 2008. Originally starting out in the fitness and figure categories she found her way to bikini, while also dabbling in a little bit of powerlifting. Wanting to keep her flexibility and mobility as well as work on her anxiety she found yoga in 2012
soon becoming her second passion.
Through the years, she never lost her passion for hand balancing and would often be found hand standing in her kitchen while waiting for food to cook or taking fun arm balance or handstand pictures everywhere she’s traveled. Tara holds degrees in Media Arts with a focus in digital marketing, Sport Management, as well as Computer Applications.
